Not quite the shot I envisioned, but this still captured the atmosphere that evening. Bands rocked out while the audience and photographers (like myself) endured the rain. Memorable indeed.

Bass Down Low - Noel Asistores of Sino Sikat?

This was my first time to put my 7D’s weather-sealing to the test. With the rented 70-200 f2.8 not being weather-sealed, I had to prioritize protecting it from the rain (with my shirt) above myself. Despite the cold & cough, it was a great experience!

This was also my last shot with my D3000.*

This picture is 1-2 months old already, but I just wanted to post this because I miss the weight of 70-200 f/2.8. It’s not that I’m craving that “killa swag” that comes with carrying a long white lens; I really found comfort in its ergonomics and image quality. Oh someday you will be mine.
